An old friend from Sharlayan that never got good marks in her education, but loved to read. She wanted to go an adventure like those in her stories, so she traveled the realm while considering what to do with her life. Through a series of fortuitous events, she found herself in Havenwood and got a job at the Enchanted Inkpot, where she can read all day and make drinks, which she discovered a knack for. She forgets orders from time to time, but she always makes a tasty drink.

Tsuru Hatashi

Tsuru is a soft spoken girl from a remote village in Yanxia. She always preferred the company of books, and read every book in her village several times over. When she was old enough to travel on her own, she left her village in the pursuit of more books. Her travels eventually led her west to explore the Eorzean realm of literature. She was drawn to the quiet simplicity of Havenwood, getting a job at the Enchanted Inkpot and surrounding herself with the books she loved so much. Tsuru has read every book in the shop at least once, and knows where every single one is located.

Gazardiel serves a managerial role as well as a specialist for all things arcane. He manages the basement inventory of spell books, grimoires, staves, potions, and other supplies for magic users. He relies on the girls to create the environment and to uphold the spirit of the place, preferring to do the behind-the-scenes work.
